' "HE WHO SEES FROM THE SIDE HAS 8 EYES" is a digital LP and passion project by self-proclaimed 'staff wielder of magnanimous note' and producer Chieff(rucka).

The album explores desolation as a dream-warped entity. The bounds of reality melt seamlessly in a pot of angst and simmer in the broth of time. There is an intimacy that clings onto the crumbs of a fluttering consciousness, irregularly pinning one onto the walls of confrontation.
The open, galactic waves of lushness become frequent bedfellows with the rigid and harsh textures that string together the atmosphere of the world entered. The world that is explored by the subconscious persona of IRAKO, the nuanced soothsayer. IRAKO encounters many a thing when exploring his world, and the abrupt nature of this world, whilst often viciously cold, lonely and uninviting, allows IRAKO the gift of sight, of which IRAKO was robbed of in his previous form. IRAKO, despite haunted by the sluggish density of his birthplace, coated by a scorching red mist of air, often catches glimpses of the desolate beauty that only he has the privilege of deciphering, so he leaves the code of his discoveries in a deep well of spells. The only protection: the ability to see. IRAKO discovered that to see was to be, so he surmised a formula that would help uncover the gift of sight, for he who sees from the side, has 8 eyes...

The roars of IRAKO's exploration give birth to a bed of collaged soundscapes, knitted together in the free-form nature of dream-drowned hip-hop, electronic and jazz adjacent instrumentation.'

Each song comes to you from a place of discovery. A discovery of love and fear. A discovery of sight and destruction. A discovery of bloodletting and above all, a discovery of the self and where it is I want to take it. Anything you'll ever need to know is here, somewhere. In the dense midst of this culmination of songs. I would lay there, empty. Still. Afraid. Now I look from behind me, so I can see. Now I look from the side, so I can feel. When I looked inwardly, this is what it is I saw.
